INTERVIEW WITH PHYSICAL-SCIENCES PRESIDENT JOHN EBERHART

Hi john, how are you: I am doing well, thank you.

This has been a long 4 plus years for you, in bringing this product line to market, care to elaborate: Yes, it has been a long time since I started the original concept of the company over 4 years ago. Working in isolation for much of the time researching, formulating, and financing this product line solely on my own was very difficult. My days went pretty much Johnlike this for over 4 years. Go to work, to the gym, home and work till 2 am or so on this product line, and worked through the weekends on physical-sciences. I kept that schedule pretty much everyday for 4 plus years straight. To finally bring what started as an illusive concept to full reality is exciting to me, finally. I actually did not think I would ever finish the base product line. (Laughs) Neither did anyone else. (Laughs)

Wow!!  That is quite an accomplishment; you must be exhausted by now: Exhausted to say the least. (Laughs) I guess the old saying “GIANT GOALS PRODUCE GIANT MOTIVATION” had a lot to do with the attainment of the goals I had set in front of me when I got started, and carried me through to the end of this 4 plus year project. To be honest it reached some pretty unhealthy points mentally and physically for me. I was wearing the hats of about 10 people all the way through. Looking back that was not a very wise decision I made. It was simply necessary given the financial constraints and the amount of work needed to be done to satisfy myself. I am also obsessive compulsive to almost a crippling degree and the setbacks brought upon me by being like that made it drag on and on. A vision is a vision I guess and you are powerless except to follow and chase to wherever it may lead and that always is changing.

What got you started into all of this: Frustration actually started the company; I am like anyone else in any gym you go to. I work hard, am consistent and have incredible dietary practices. I want to be rewarded for my hard work. Basically, after going through about 5 companies supplement lines, which I had read up on and were touted as higher end companies, I knew something was not right. Especially after opening up the same two containers of the same product and having their consistencies be so different from the other. I actually called the company and they gave me the run around saying well sir this and that, eventually ending with me saying you sold me a bucket of sugar you jackass, then well sir this and that. So I paid for laboratory analysis of all the products I was using out of these 5 nutritional lines. Very expensive to have this done, but worth it to me simply because I had to know just what was actually being sold to me. Lab results were devastating; I could not believe what I was seeing. Proteins were running about 1/3 to1/2 actual protein1/2 to 2/3 or so of the ingredients unusable by the human body, in any container you buy. All the protein products listing what the actual protein specs out at in its natural state on the labels, how do you flavor it then I asked myself, since you have to remove protein to add the other things to it to sweeten it add vitamins and fill it out etc.

The bottom line was simply the protein is the most expensive ingredient in the container by far. To get into the price war with all the other companies so you could sell it at such a cheap price, guess what had to come out. Yes the protein must go, and people think that because all of these companies are competing against each other it drives the price down. You are sadly mistaken; you are the loser at the end of the chain. You bought two pounds of protein for a great price right. Well Mr. Bargain Hunter slash cheapskate you just walked with probably a pound of protein at best sometimes not much at all. So I had to ask myself am I looking for protein to build my body or am I looking for a dessert. You have to pick one, I have people come to me all the time telling me they just can’t get leaned out all the way and most of the time the culprit is there cheap great tasting protein. This is funny, many of my customers go and buy that big bag of protein from Sam’s or Costco to flavor my protein, that is what they used to use until they found out it was just a bag of cocoa powder and sugar nothing really in it resembling protein and when they compared the consistencies between that and protein in its raw state, they were shocked.

There were a lot of interesting things out there like protein bars made with actual sugar. You can look at the ingredients on any commercial protein bar and see it is an incredible chemical composition. That is what you get when you have to make something with a two year shelf life. Try putting a steak on a shelf for two years. I am going to go out on a limb here just for a second. You know your protein bar does not taste, look or smell like a cinnamon roll. I have been to cinnabon and you’re not even close. How about giving me something my body can work with. How about making it decent tasting, but not at the expense of it’s nutritional valu, or having it make me shit my pants within 20 minutes of eating it. The cinnamon roll taste like a cinnamon roll, is 10 times cheaper, and does not make me shit my pants. Now why am I buying your protein bar? To this day there still has not been a protein bar manufactured that is at best a decent nutritional substitute to real food, not even close. Back to the question, many companies listing soy gelatin as the main protein source in their protein bars. The human body simply passes gelatin. Filling out products with maltodextrin and not listing it as the main ingredient in the product. Liquid creatines that did not have any Creatine in the product at all do to the fact that the compound is not very soluble in solution. Hey but it looked cool in the bottle and with enough convincing my mind would tell me it was working. The list went on and on not to mention the all the second coming of Christ muscle building and fat loss products that don’t do anything at all. I am a decently smart guy, I go outside sometimes and I can see your fat loss this and your muscle building stack that does not work. The deception was overwhelming. That is when I decided to create my own line out of my need for superior supplements without all the b.s. So Physical-Sciences was born and the pursuit began. I regret making that decision to this day. (Laughs) It is very difficult bringing a project of this size from a mere idea to a tangible reality.

Let’s not leave out the vitamin industry for they may be some of the worst offenders. Vitamin supplements generally DO NOT provide significantly higher levels than our bodies require, but significantly lower amounts than what our bodies need. Many people base their knowledge of this matter on the standards set forth by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). However, independent studies have shown that those standards are significantly lower than what is actually needed in our bodies. If one bases the needed amounts on those standards, it would appear that many vitamin supplements provide much higher levels than what is needed, when in reality, they do not.

It is true that you get natural vitamins from the foods you eat. You just do not get enough! Our soil has been overused, abused, and poorly managed for decades. This has caused nutrients to be depleted, which in turn means that our foods are not as nutrient-rich as they once were. While some nutrients, such as nitrogen, can be replaced, other nutrients, especially, phyto-nutrients, can not be replaced. They are just lost or severely minimized, not only to the soil, but to the foods grown in those soils. Phyto-nutrients are vital for the health of the body and if they are not taken through supplementation, your body is just not getting them, or at least not getting enough of them.

Also, in order to get the vitamins and other nutrients our bodies need, even if the foods are grown in good, vitamin-rich soil, one must eat a healthy diet. That doesn't mean going out to McDonald's and eating foods that have been processed to the point that the nutritious part has been removed, such as white flour. If one is not eating a healthy diet, they have no way of getting the nutrients they need from their foods. Most vitamins supplements are petroleum extracts, coal tar derivatives, and chemically processed sugar, plus sometimes industrially processed fish oils, with other acids and industrial chemicals, such as formaldehyde used to process them. Synthetic vitamins were originally developed because they cost less and more profit could be made from the low biological value, synthetic derivatives that the body does little with as far as absorption and use.

I had no idea the industry was that bad: There aren’t many regulations in place in the industry yet. Right now it is simply a buyer beware market. With that said there are also companies doing great and amazing things. The supplement industry is no different than any other industry, The cheaper you make something the greater the profit margin is, so there is great incentive to cut corners and make once really good products, not so good any longer. I believe the supplement industry is steering itself into having to abide by strict government regulations and when that goes down 95% of the companies will be gone or forced to put out things that actually work. The face change of the industry will be totally shocking to say the least. If the FDA steps in and imposes regulations on companies, that will be a great day for me and physical-sciences. No retooling necessary it would not affect my company at all. Now if we have to follow what the government has deemed the nutritional standard, then we are all screwed. I am not wishing for it whatsoever but the way things are going I am going to have to say it may be getting close to necessary. What is sad is that the industry is going to do it to themselves, and it is as if that is the goal.

John; Tell us about Physical-Sciences Nutraceuticals: The concept has always been about delivering the best quality nutritional products ever made. When I started taking proteins in the raw natural state I was surprised as my muscularity increased substantially. I stopped going to the bathroom every 5 minutes and everything I thought was going to happen with the products I was buying was happening now. RESULTS FINALLY! With that start I was going to do the whole line of products that way. The only thing that mattered to me was results, nothing else.

Physical-Sciences was to be everything I had ever dreamed my supplements to be. It went much further then I ever expected. I will only sell what are the best medical grade compounds, nutrients, fatty acids etc being produced in the world at their most effective ratios; every product was designed to exert optimal effect on the human body. I will never waiver on my commitment to producing the highest quality products for my customers and myself for that matter, for as long as I head this company. I promise to dissolve the company before ever surrendering the quality for financial purposes or anything else.

Our goal is a basic one here to give people the best nutritional products there are to help them improve the quality of their lives by improving their physiology and health.

There were some interesting things along the way like when I started locating compounds like Creatine monohydrate being used in brain research and in the reversal of severe mental psychosis in patients suffering from these conditions. I wanted these incredibly pure and potent compounds in my line of products not the low grade cheap compounds, that aren’t very effective, that most of you are sold, the difference is just amazing, and so I have a whole group of these incredible compounds in the medical research section of my line. They are the ultimate statement of purity and what Physical-Sciences was built upon.

To let you know how meticulous I am here is a small portion. I import all my oils from Canada as close to the plant as I can get and the best manufacturer. I noticed that a lot of the organic flax oils here were very smooth compared to the one from Canada which is bitter to the taste. Just to find out a lot of them are blended with safflower oil to make them more palatable. Nothing wrong with safflower oil but you paid for pure organic flaxseed oil and with me that is what you will get. If you take the cap off of our organic flaxseed gel caps and whatever you find at the store and smell them both. There is a world of difference. You are simply getting what you paid for and I have to fight with customs to make sure that is always the way it is. Also I was amazed at how the quality of my skin looked after starting on that oil over the store bought flax oil I used to buy.

We are currently one of the purest nutritional product lines in the world right now to sum it up in one statement. The quality is so high it can be classified as medical grade. With that said we are getting the opportunity to have our product line made available to patients with wide ranging illnesses, disease, cancer recovery, bariatric and gastric bypass surgery patients, as well as those recovering from injury. That was one of my main objectives was to be able to have my products good enough to be able to lend nutritional support to the medical industry, not just the health and fitness. Here is an email I got from someone totally from a different situation then sports and fitness in regards to my products. I am happy to be able to help people in need not just stick to the fitness industry. That was my big gamble to not follow and pigeonhole myself into just the world of building muscle.

“Hello,
I have a question regarding your Isolate Protein products. I am a former bariatric patient that currently uses Unjury Medical Quality Isolate Protein.  I am trying to find something similar to that product here locally in Cincinnati.

In reading your site, it appears that your products might even have more nutritional value than the Unjury Products.  I need pure Isolate protein at a total of about 65 grams per day and I do use the protein as meal replacement at about 8 ounces of liquid per meal.  I know that normally, I cannot use any type of protein that is associated with weight lifting as it has a lot of other stuff in it and with bariatric surgery, sugar is an issue. Have you had any experience or are your products currently used by any bariatric patients??

Thanks!!!!
Tina Sharp

Here is something very interesting from a doctor who heads a large diabetic clinic in Florida. As we discussed the protein programs for his patients and how the proteins had to meet exact specifications because they monitor almost every aspect of a patients health constantly testing doing blood work in order to bring all health markers back to safe and healthy standards. The doctors can tell the slightest dietary changes you make this way. The doctors are simply trying to find what works best for you because everyone’s body is unique in the way it functions. When the clinic has run out of the pure grade protein product, some of the patients went out and bought commercial protein products from their local gnc or the internet discount websites. The doctor then told me after consuming these products the patients health markers went into the toilet, hypertension and high blood pressure came back in full force and most of the work they did to improve their health was in jeopardy once again. Remember your supplements aren’t good enough for clinical medicine, why don’t you call the manufacture and ask why. At least you have a cool container, right?

Physical-Sciences is about results, helping people create a physical vision for themselves or lending nutritional support through tough times of illness in life. Then taking them from point A to point B as fast as possible. So they can go out and enjoy their lives with their new self image and health. That is what we are about. If you are looking for incredible tasting products, outrageous claims, beautiful packaging, models, muscular freaks, and to be sold on hype, you have come to the wrong place. We offer none of the above. (Laughs)

It seems like most supplement companies are going in one direction and you in the opposite:  Well while all the supplement companies are racing against each other to make everything taste like cakes, cookies and candy, at the expense of the quality of the product, I set out with a whole different premise in mind. I was going off the few people who actually have achieved great success in transforming their physiques and maintain this state year in and year out. There may be 5 out of a 5000 member gym. These people have one thing in common talking to them over the years and they always say “I don’t care what it tastes like as long as it works".

With that in mind I wanted to create the most effective products, and a lot of the time to keep blood concentration levels at their highest, so the product could exert it’s optimal effect on the human body meant not flavoring the product, some of them there was room for flavoring, and I did what I could do, which to be honest it is decent at best. A friend of mine had a product of mine and he goes what flavor is that, I said orange, and he looks at me with a confused face and says “no that would be ass” (laughs) so at least I tried. I look at it this way when you take your clothes off at the beach no one will come up and say I bet your supplements taste like a perfect banana split, covered in chocolate and cherries, with caramel and whipped cream, I bet they are delicious, no they will see whether your supplements work or not, simply by your physical presentation.

So why all supplement companies are obsessed with making these incredible tasting products that don’t do very much except empty your bank account. I went the other way and said "hey my customers can go eat a gallon of real ice cream with their incredible bodies after they are done taking their crappy tasting supplements that work".

The big separation of this company from all others is the product, and its effectiveness is the main priority, not if you are going to like it or not. Reverse marketing as far as I am concerned, nutritional supplements were supposed to be just that, a supplement to your diet. I have no idea when they needed to be a replacement to your favorite dessert. That is an expensive proposition the supplements for taste crowd, cake and ice cream is a much cheaper option yielding virtually the same results.

I have always said I can take a can of tuna to the ice cream parlor sit down and eat it and then my favorite milk shake or malt and have something that equal or better than any companies protein product.

So I guess with that said what separates us is honesty. We are simply asking do you want a great body or not. There are no in between, no gray areas and to get there you need products that work, period. Hey you don’t pour chocolate syrup on your chicken breasts why do your supplements have to be that way. (Laughs). There is no compromise here every product has to work and be the best at what it is, and what it is used for, I take that very seriously.

John you are taking somewhat of a chance here by not following the tried and true: The tried and true actually led me to putting this product line out. Products, like the ones I have became a necessity for me, in achieving the results I wanted to achieve. I was not getting that from the products I was buying, and there were non available. Believe me if the supplement lines I was using were what they claimed to be, there would have been no reason for me to do this at all. With my product line you simply give up taste for results. I will make that sacrifice every time. With physical-sciences what you read is what you get. Plain and simple, I try to keep things that way.

Your customers are fortunate that you are willing to dissolve your company before the quality of the products is diluted for profit and mass marketing sake. That is a bold guarantee you are making for them: My products have to be pure and work, there is no ifs, ands, or butts that is why I did this. So to sell it out at any point is not even an option for me at all, I simply could not live with that. I will be the smallest supplement company in the world, and be very proud of that. Just as long as when people talk about physical-sciences they are talking about superior products, and commitment to quality, and our customers. To be the biggest company and be total crap, don't have it in me. The high end supplement companies are the smallest; our incentive is to have the best products, not to be in a grocery store. The people that know me will tell you when I say I am going to something, it is a done deal. I will never turn physical-sciences into a candy company and ruin the product line, like a couple of local greats did, in search of a wider audience. They were also not even considered for medical nutrition when I spoke to physicians and specialists about my products for nutritional support to medical patients. All I heard was sir we can’t even consider those types of supplement companies, we need pure, we need quality and we need to know exactly what is in the product. They only had one choice they said. I am very proud of that, and will never waiver in the face of greed; I will close the doors for good before I abandon my integrity and the integrity of the product line.

Physical-Sciences have no fad or exaggerated claim products as a matter of fact you make no claims at all. Your labels are even educational to read: It is very hard to build a stand out physique. It takes years of sacrifice, dedication, discipline, blood, sweat and tears to the extreme. I would be lying to you if I said I have a short cut. If you can’t see after the last 5 years that there is no short cut after the borage of the supplement miracle onslaught, then you are lost forever. All I can do is make sure you have the highest quality set of tools made to build your house with. I can’t build it for you, that is up to you. Nope not even a nail. So I can’t exaggerate anything because in the end it just comes down to how badly you want this house. I am just supplying the tools for the job nothing more nothing less.

If you have to hype something you are already dealing with something inferior, and if you have to tell someone how good it is, over and over it probably isn’t that great. The whole latest greatest supplement is simply rooted in taking advantage of the human beings need for instant gratification and the fact it will always gravitate towards the path of  least resistance. A basic human instinct and need.

People have been using this to make substantial amounts of money for as long as I can recall. Being such the student of human biochemistry and cellular biology, that I am, I can’t even look at this stuff, without shaking my head and laughing. The human body at best can put on about 4-6 pounds of lean body mass a year naturally and that is busting your ass. Then once you reach your genetic limit that’s it.

Hypothetically let’s say we put on 15 pounds of lean body mass in 3 years. Which is very good that maybe it for us genetically speaking. There is nothing we can do to go any further except maintain what we have built. There are genetic limits with anabolic steroids also you might go 10-15 pounds past your natural limit for the average guy and then that is it. Now you must maintain the extra 10-15 pounds by continuously taking anabolic steroids and your supplements and eating and training very well. The average guy on even the pro’s steroid and drug regimens would never see 30 to 50 pounds of muscle gain in 100 years if he did that everyday for that length of time.

You just don’t get to say I want to be that big or look like that because of the genetic limits put on most of us. My point is with these products you can just bypass your genetic code and gain 50 pounds of muscle in just a few weeks when not even the strongest anabolic agents on earth that are actually  used in medicine can do this for us in any amount administered. So I call bullshit on it all. Don’t you think if a doctor could give wasting syndrome patients a shake, a harmless capsule or a ridiculous sugar/chemical pump inducing concoction, or a goofy stack from the store to spare and even try to build up their lean body mass instead of the 8-10 liver ravaging oxymetholone tablets a day, they would? Hell yes they would and you would see the cabinets in the hospitals full of them. Guess what are in those cabinets’ things that actually have to work by law. So why don’t they use your muscle building stack in medicine when it promises the same results as anabolic steroids and are completely safe? Hmm let me see here, my only guess is that it does not work at all, not even a little.

Go test my theory, take your big beautiful box, or canisters containing your powerful muscle stack, testosterone booster or whatever you want to a hospital or clinic, where they administer anabolic steroids to treat illness and help recovery or just to preserve life as long as they can. Present that to the physicians and tell them that you have something that can help people. Tell them about the explosive muscle growth it will offer the sick and debilitated patients without the harmful side effects of real anabolic androgenic steroids. We all know what a big role lean body mass plays in the overall health and wellness of a human being. So you will be a hero for introducing the doctors to this miracle you have purchased just down the block at the nutritional store. Show them the advertisement and what it can do on the made up study and graph. While your there go and tell the doctors to stop giving men suffering from andropaus testosterone injections. You have something that will boost their testosterone levels three thousand percent. As you are being drug out by security while the roar of deafening laughter fills the halls and you might even hear such harshness as don’t ever waste our fucking time again, we have serious work to do here, or go back to your make believe clown world, you nut. You might think about what you have just purchased. My guess is that you will figure that one out well before you approach the front doors. Reality is a bitch sometimes.

Don’t give up take all your fat burners to an obesity clinic and plead with them, all you need is this little bottle I got at the cooler in my gym or these capsules in this bottle. I bought at the nutritional store. Once again take your advertisement made up graphs and charts with you. You will be saving lives by helping people burn all that fat in just 30 days or less. You will be a hero for introducing these patients and physicians to this miracle. The ad said it works so it has to right. Once again as you are being drug out by security while the roar of deafening laughter fills the halls and you might even hear such harshness as don’t ever waste our fucking time again, we have serious work to do here, or go back to your make believe clown world you nut. You might think about what you have just purchased. My guess is that you will figure that one out well before you approach the front doors. Harsh as I may be at times. Reality is a bitch. I say the ad says this product shocked the scientific community well get on the phone and call the Clinical Research Center at johns Hopkins or the Cleveland clinic, hell while you’re at it, The Center for Human Genetic Research at Massachusetts general. I view those as part of the scientific community. Call and ask about that so called supplement you bought that shocked the foundation on which they stand. I think we already went over what you will experience. My guess is you won’t even pick up the phone. (Laughing hysterically).

Why are professional athletes and those involved with them risking so much like being banned, suspended, fined, and even jailed to use anabolic steroids (you know the ones that actually work) to give them an edge in their profession. You are sitting there dumbfounded with your beautiful muscle building stack box and your cookie crisp protein powder, asking why would they do that when all they have to do is go down to the store, like I did. I think by now you can answer your own question. If what you have worked I would personally give a grand a pop for it. It took me so many years of relentless training and nutrition and supplementation to even begin to see motivating changes in my own body. So scrap the grand, make it two.

It is hard for me to believe the purchasers of these kinds of products are that ignorant. I won’t even go into all the fat loss products and how ineffective they are, I have 2 eyes I go to wal-mart I can see the results. I get asked about these kinds of products all the time, and my answer is and will always be the same. I have seen all the fads in my time at the gym, the fat loss products, the pro-hormone craze (I have the class-action lawsuit cases where these companies paid millions out when scientist proved androsteindione to be a precursor of male and female sex hormones, and completely worthless for muscle building. The myostatin and NO2 bullshit avalanche, testosterone boosters and the little aluminum and now plastic niacin and caffeine filled super ripped, energy through the roof, burns all the fat up after one bottle products. I am always watching people drinking those and wondering to myself, you need energy to maintain that look, I am thinking, how bazaar.

Just remember I have two eyes, and that is your ninetieth bottle, and you still have the same gut you had and still look gross (laughs). Up to the latest sugar/dangerous chemical pump craze, now the muscle stack craze. I must ask when did getting a pump in the gym result in muscle mass gains, I don’t know either. (laughs) Anyway here is my answer when asked about the effectiveness of any of these products I put my hand above my eyes and start looking around the gym and say I am still waiting for my gym to fill up with all these huge muscular ripped people, its been 8 years now and I am still waiting.

That usually stops that person from their purchase, the light goes on and they start thinking hey everyone in here is taking this stuff and look at them all nothing is happening. If go and ask anyone who has achieved physical excellence, and ask them what they take as far as products go you will come up with none of these ridiculous products, but solid nutritional practices and consistent training turned over for many years. Most people will never reach this physical state so the need for these products will always be great.

For most people to face what it actually takes to get to this point is to devastating and a short cut gives hope but unfortunately yields no actual results. Hopes and short cuts have never built an amazing physique. For the few of us who have attained this level of physical conditioning and change we say buy all that stuff you want we know you are never ever coming here. So we don’t worry, you will quit out of frustration in just a few months and you will free up some of the space at the gym so we can get our things done we need to get done, without you getting in the way.

So for us if it does not work we don’t sell it. The supplement industry is funny they act like the human body changes drastically every year so last years products are obsolete, kind of like computers. The last time I checked it changes very little in thousands and thousands of years, so what worked 100 years ago, will work today. Funny how supplements come and go but protein is always there. Is the alarm going off in your head yet? (laughs)

We don’t even have a fat loss product any longer now that ephedra was banned again. Right now there simply is nothing worth looking into because like creatine, ephedra was one of the only supplements to actually pan out. All the stuff out there now is worthless. Hoodia showed some promise but because of certain things has died a fast death and here is the list.

The only part of the Hoodia Gordonii that works is the inside of the stem. But companies can put Hoodia roots in your supplement and still say you have Hoodia – it just won't do anything for you.

It takes a lot of Hoodia to affect your appetite, so supplements with tiny amounts may indeed be "pure Hoodia," but in too small a dose to matter.

"Chinese Hoodia" isn't the same as the Hoodia Gordonii grown in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa. If your Hoodia was grown anywhere else in the world, it won't help you.

"80 percent of the hoodia currently being purchased by consumers is either adulterated, which means cut with other ingredients, or contains no actual Hoodia Gordonii whatsoever."

While all species of hoodia plants are protected by the governments of southern Africa. Some species are endangered. The hoodia officinalis delaetiana, for example, is only found in areas of Namibia and is rare and endangered. Hoodia gordonii (hoodia gordonil) is found in South Africa and Namibia and is not threatened with extinction at this time, but the governments feel that it may become threatened due to over harvesting.

The bottom line is this if you need to judge if a product you have purchased is working. This covers fat loss and muscle building supplements that claim steroid type results. You do not change your current diet or training routine at all. Without dieting a fat loss product should make you lose weight without changing anything at all. The prescription medications have no problem doing it. Anabolic steroids will cause an increase in skeletal muscle to a human who does not even lift weights at all. Now the results are not going to be as great as they would be if you dieted and trained hard while using these medications but they will work doing absolutely nothing. Your products should do they same.

You must realize almost all of the charlatan muscle building and fatless products are theoretically based and only work in the mind and on paper. We theorize that this will enter the liver this way and come out that way. Well ten times out of ten the liver simply destructs the compound and renders it useless. Damn that liver, it likes to throw a wrench in everything you want to do. That does not stop it from hitting the market though. Hey it works in theory that apparently is good enough for the consumer because they buy. Never to achieve and results from any of it. Some theoretical based products are viable but very few.

Any advice you can give to consumers of these types of products: Yes, please put the money in an envelope and send it to me so I can take a much needed vacation. (Laughs) seriously we all can get caught up in the excitement of reading about these products and their completely made up sciences, and result charts. I fell for it a few times in the beginning and so should you. So you learn there is no short cut to success with building an outstanding physique, even with anabolic steroids you must have incredible dietary practices and consistent intense training or you will find all of the above to be disappointing in the results they yield for you. I can remember buying one of these types of pro-hormone suedo steroid type products in the beginning. Man I thought I was the only one in the world who found this product, so to me the company only sold one bottle and that was to me. It even came with a syringe, I was thinking man just wait till they see me in the gym. In no time I will pass everyone up. Well you know the rest of the story I was relieved of 69.95 times three and not a damn thing happened to me.

This scenario will play out till the end of time. The old charlatans with their bottles of magic elixirs come to mind, just in the modern age. It is criminal, yes, but is never ending, so the best thing to do is do a little biochemistry work educate yourself then weigh these product sciences, theoretical or so called proven claims against your knowledge to see if they pan out before purchasing them. Or do the quick and easy method; wait to see if your gym fills up with these incredible specimens, because if you are thinking about purchasing this product everyone else already has.

Was I surprised when I got the class action lawsuit leveled against all the companies producing pro-hormones in the mail? Naming the product I purchased as well as all the others in that realm of supplements as completely worthless and a criminal extortion of money from consumers. Not really, this same company and another are recently in trouble for putting Coumarin, which is a chemical compound. It has clinical medical value as the precursor for several anticoagulants prescription medications.

I recently just got a copy of an FDA warning leveled against one of the largest and very popular nutritional lines. 8 warnings of misbranding products, making false health claims, unapproved additives in products etc etc…

People need to know that the self proclaimed world leader of performance supplements and energy products is in court right now entertaining a large class-action lawsuit for making up a compound that does not exist (but you know they are scientist, laughs) and having it turn out to be nothing more then cheap low grade creatine monohydrate not the powerful new compound that was developed in their laboratory under tight security (laughs). My god but their packaging has to be the most impressive and eye catching I have ever seen. Marketing at its best. It is too bad that what’s inside is not what you paid for and might not be all that great. Enjoy the packaging use it around the house, plant flowers in it. Just don’t tell anyone you used these supplements because they are probably going to look you up and down and maybe say something like “uhh your kidding, I didn’t even know you worked out”.

This is a buyer beware market. After so much research and education these products and marketing practices are an incredible source  of entertainment for me kind of like mad magazine for me, and guys will swear the stuff is working for them, and I get a huge pump from this and that, and I feel it working, this and that. You let them go only to see them look exactly the same as they did standing before you, only it is 3 years later and a lot more money lost.

There just is no short cut, I found out and you will have to also. Then you will realize why so few in our society have achieved physical excellence. It takes many years of untold sacrifice and commitment. I personally would not do it over again if I had to.

I am always weary of huge advertising campaigns and packaging that costs more then the product inside. It has been called putting perfume on a pig before. If you have a quality product generally it will generate all the advertising and sales it needs to a certain point. After that usually we will need to dilute the product to get it ready for mass marketing. That involves dressing our diluted product up like a clown and sending it out.

Almost all nutritional lines now (I am excluding the clown muscle building products right now). We are just taking about nutritional products. All the lines look like they are made by a candy company. I was looking at one and I said to myself “that is a candy company” so with that if how amazing something tastes is in an advertisement, run as fast as you can away from it. It is going to be crap every time. We must give up something to get something in life. If you think you are going to have a peanut butter chocolate roll bar and a cherry cheesecake protein shake and look good someday, I want to live in the world that you are living in, because it sure is nice there. It is the opposite of the world I live in.

Here is a sure fire way to the truth. Go to any amateur bodybuilding and figure show and ask people who are competing and have to buy their own supplements what they are taking. You will not hear any of the big supplement companies mentioned, you will also hear of companies that just product high quality nutritional products, not clown products in pretty boxes... Another thing to ask yourself is could I myself get ready for a show using this company’s supplement line only by itself. My guess is the 10 largest supplement companies out there, if you used their product line for your show, you would get crushed and humiliated. My guess is that you would be so disappointed you would quit half way through your preparation. It is hard to hit a major league fast ball with a wiffle ball bat. It is even harder to build a great physique with sugar and gimmicks.

That reminds me, I was watching a little segment on YouTube of a pro bodybuilder in his kitchen going over his nutrition. German guy, wonderful, funny personality, and very entertaining and just enormous. I take this and I take that and eat this and that. He goes over all the supplements he takes. At the end he pulls out this shiny silver unmarked bag and starts to talk. He says when it is time to look my best, I take a pure protein blend with nothing added and holds up the unmarked suspicious looking silver Mylar bag.(laughs) It is made for me and it consists of this and that protein with no flavor, no nothing. When it is time to stop messing around I have to get rid of all this sugar stuff and he moves all the supplement products to the side. Once more stated when it is time to look my best I have to get rid of that stuff and go with pure proteins. Yes, I was smiling from ear to ear, that summed what I am doing up very quickly. When it is time to look your best you have got to get rid of all that crap.

Physical-sciences product line is very complete and thorough as far as human nutrition supplementation is concerned. What stands out to me and is the most unique aspect of this line and different from any nutritional line basically in the world is the protein component of this line. You have 19 different proteins where most companies have 2-3, why so many? And what was the purpose of such a wide verity of products? I would be confused on what to buy looking at them all. How do I choose what I need? The proteins are a byproduct of a 4 year experiment into me trying to match proteins to the human metabolism, and its fluctuation and varying rates over the course of minutes, hours, days, months and years. The protein ratios of these products were what was used over the 4 years and are extremely effective ratio’s some are common sense, and tried and true ratio’s some are unorthodox and complicated. Something told me that if I could interchange proteins as my metabolic rate fluctuated, I could take full advantage of the greatest tissue building states the body goes in and out of on a daily basis.

It is funny all the things I read years ago and now in magazines and online about how to consume proteins and what is right, like you must consume multiple blends in a single serving or it must have casein in it and this is the best way to do it. That was completely shattered as this protein cycling experiment got into its tedious and very complicated stages. The bad thing about multiple blends if they are a basic store bought protein is it is impossible to get blood concentrations of these individual proteins high enough to exert their potential, the other is because half the container is unusable unnecessary sugars, flavorings, vitamins etc we have to take half the container a day to reach it’s potential. Let alone if they remembered to put any protein in the product at all.

So starting with fast acting proteins upon arising and after training sessions with whey's and casein blends during the day and through the night led to making sure the body was cleared of casein's as our metabolic rate was increased by something as simple as riding a bicycle, Fast acting proteins like whey and milk isolates were used during and after the bike ride. I really had to think ahead about the things I was doing or going to be doing if I was going to have any chance at a controlled experiment. Then I started running the body on single proteins, then just hydrolyzed proteins and long periods on just complete milk protein alone and then introducing hydrolyzed lactalbumin etc. What would the body do on just isolates alone; things basically came down to timing and ratios. My own body responded very well as growth and the level of muscularity was greatly enhanced the last 2 years as I had a pretty effective method for my protein cycling in place.

I remember the first time I switched out and was on nothing but complete milk protein for a week. It was noticeable the small changes in my level of muscularity as my body never had a chance to become accustomed to any certain habitual practices concerning protein intake. Currently I might make my daily protein shakes from 5 different products at a time could be Hydro Heaven at 2 pm and then Super Milk at 4 pm. I constantly change it up so there is different protein going through me at different ratios all the time.

A friend of mine stayed with me for a month before leaving for medical school. He is an avid lifter and disciplined eater like myself so many variables were removed right there. I decided to interchange his proteins for a month to see what would happen. In just 30 days the results were extremely noticeable and I knew I would try to take it as far as I possibly could, so I worked with it. Another subject, a female, great lifter decent dieter, just by putting a good protein program in place, in one year completely changed her physique to where it was like, "what the hell have you been doing differently". The level of muscularity changes was very surprising to me. I could go on and on about all that was involved, but to make a long story short this actually worked, and proved to me if you buy a protein product and use it for everything, you will miss out on a very substantial amount of muscular growth and a great increase in the level of your muscularity.

I was cycling over 10 different proteins, blended and singular, and I made sure each proteins blood concentration was at its highest level. So the body would be able to utilize the proteins most efficiently. This would have been impossible to do with any of the protein products currently on the shelves available today.

For most people I simply recommend a blended protein with micellar casein for all day use. A fast acting protein like an isolate upon arising, post training, and cardio. There are many combinations and as your needs grow so will your want to interchange your proteins more often and try new things. We will always assist the customer, given his or hers physical goals, exactly what to purchase. So you can leave it entirely up to us, or read and make your own decisions on what you need to purchase. We always recommend a person get involved in their nutritional programs and not leave them entirely up to others.

Most people live busy lives and just want to know what to get, and their gone: That is how it should be, I do all the work so you don’t have to. You don’t have to sit there thinking is this stuff really working. Most people are like, "just give me what works and let me get back to my life"; we will have combination examples and whole supplement program example pictures and list on our website, to give the customer an example on where to start. It will help to take some of the confusion out of purchasing these products and how to build a successful nutritional regimen using these products.

We want to be involved in your progression all the way, not just thanks for buying our stuff, see you later.(laughs) So with me it is like o.k. john this is what I want to do, this is my time schedule, this is my budget. I will take that all into consideration and simply put a package together for them. I am trying to remove a lot of the headache in attaining ones physical goals, because most people simply don’t have the time to read and research, and no one is willing to help very much. I have always helped people as much as I could at the time and never held any valuable information from them.

John you are very black and white and basically brutally honest when talking about building a great physique. You pull no punches, and can at times sound offensive to some with your teachings. (Laughing), oh man! I am bad in that department, very bad. After years of teaching people weight training and nutrition not as a personal trainer or anything like that, because I am not, just as a hey I will help you type guy, I learned a lot about human nature, the number one thing that stands out is that a human being will always gravitate towards the path of least resistance, and if you put adversity in front of most humans they will crumble.

With that said if someone is going to actually change themselves you have got to be brutal with them. There is not in between with this, you either want this or you don’t. I go to the gym just like you, and it is like an episode of the twilight zone where all this stuff happens to someone only to have them end up right back where they started in the beginning. It is bazaar to me watching what goes on in a gym, no matter where it is. I have always quoted Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity when referring to what goes on in a gym. “Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result”

With that said everyone in the gym is insane. (laughs) I watch people do abdominal exercises everyday for years and never ask themselves, “hey I still don’t have visible abdominals, something is wrong here”. When the truth is your abdominal muscles are genetically set at birth appearance wise. The only thing you can do is strengthen them, and any crunching type movement does not even do that. You will never have visible abdominal muscles and a double chin, get over it.

There is no such thing as spot reducing through exercise. Fat loss is synergistic, meaning it comes from all over the body, impossible to just have a lean midsection and be fat everywhere else. Like I always say, go find me a guy with ripped abs and a double chin, and I will give you a thousand dollars.

The concentrated curl or preacher curl is a good one, to bad a bicep peak is a genetic gift, only given out to maybe one in one thousand. Let’s spend 2 hours working a muscle the size of a baseball at best. The bicep is the smallest muscle on the arm. A great shoulder and tricep make a great arm, if you have little arms like me, then you can try to make your forearms larger to create a more dramatic effect.

You can only change the size of a muscle, you can't change it shape. Muscle shape is genetically set at birth. The smith machine is great; you can do over 100 exercises on it. To bad it moves on a single plane. The human body at no time in your life will ever move on a single plane. The human body moves on multiple planes and will try to pull away from the set plane you are forcing on it, you can feel it. No machine or free weight is more responsible for injury to the human body then the smith machine.

The torso twister I just shake my head when I see someone on there, funny thing is I have yet to see someone with a great body on there ever at my gym that is usually reserved for the flubber guts and the clueless. There are so many worthless machines in any given commercial gym I can’t count them all. They are however another great source of entertainment right up there with all the made up exercises and the stuff people bring from home thinking people are going to ask them about it, try looking like something first then people might ask you. Almost forgot the golf swing workout with the cable cross-over machine, there is a reason you look like a sissy there sir. That would be one of them.

This always perplexes me, people going into these aerobic, and well, the ultimate lean body mass stripper, the dreaded spinning classes, I see them walking out after 3 years of this ridiculous insanity, and they all look the same or worse as when they first started. With only a limited few actually benefiting from the cardio type programs due to some sort of disciplined nutritional practice set in place. Let’s not forget all the bazaar training techniques I might see in a year. One ridiculous exercise after the next gathered from any fitness magazine one might be reading. Does it ever turn into noticeable results? Never from my vantage point, and the exercises and such are quickly abandoned. We have those Swiss balls lying all over my gym and those half balls. Funny the only things I see are the balls underneath the shirts. Year after year it is simply a handful of people who can diet strictly that look the best. The same people, year after year, after year it never changes.

With 80% of what a person looks like all the time simply being their diet, all the weight training or aerobics or spinning, running etc. Not a lot of change can be gathered from any of it. It is also possible to get in worse shape by going to the gym, tearing muscle down and not taking in the proper nutrients to facilitate repair and growth.

I have witnessed people get smaller year after year, just pounding themselves in the gym. I remember reading about how psychologist studied the 10 most successful people in the world to find out what characteristic traits they shared, and that they were all totally different except for they all shared only one common thing between them, and that was, when something was not working they quickly changed their approach. Most people do not have this quality; they will do something that does not work forever if left to their own vices. I know a guy who has lifted weights for 27 years 5 days a week. He never misses; if you saw him on the street you would swear he does not lift weights very often. I want to say to him you know beer and chicken wings probably isn’t great post training nutrition. Also an average person’s meal during the day would build the muscularity of a hamster let alone a two hundred pound man. Now since he has torn is body down for so long and gave it nothing back guess what is happening now. Debilitating injury that has ended lifting for this man.

Another guy I know has taken untold amounts of anabolic steroids for 20 years if you saw him out you would go yikes look at the fat guy with the puffy arms. Walking proof steroids coupled with poor training and even poorer nutrition equals shit body and enough money spent to buy one hell of a new car.

On the flip side of that I had a training partner a few years ago; when he got with me he looked like an average construction worker guy who worked out here and there. You know the type big arms no definition and a gut kind of thing going on. He came up to me and said you progress faster then anyone in here what the hell is you doing. I said what do you eat, he told me I laughed, and we were off to the races. I told him exactly what to eat when to eat it and we trained our asses off. We were known simply as not human just machines. Well he went to the wall with the nutrition and discipline beyond anything you could imagine. This guy hardly left the house for 2 years straight; he just locked onto it so hard. Two years flat he could of went to nationals and competed in some big shows. People still talk about that, I hear it all the time, “my god remember when so and so did what he did, that was unreal” It also kept me inline because he was going to run over me and I can’t let that happen (laughs). It had to be seen to be believed but there was no bullshit just hard work and dedication on his part. It was fun to watch that transformation. I had already made all the mistakes so I was able to cut years off how long this generally takes someone to achieve. He got all the right information right from the start, run he did.

There was a guy at my old gym we used to call him “The Ball” now he used to hold a Swiss ball out in front of him and rotate all the way left then all the way right. He did this for hours everyday and then for years on top of that. I was like what the hell is The Ball thinking. It was insane robotic stuff. He was overweight with a huge gut. We later found out what The Balls real problem was. The Ball was drinking a 12 pack of beer a night. No matter what the beer companies try to get me to believe about the association between beer and beautiful woman I aint buying it because nobody was coming for miles around The Ball and all his nastiness. Used to sweat like a fountain and stunk. I will tell you this beer and a great physique will never go hand in hand. Beer is the destroyer of all that is supposed to look like the male physiques. Do any of the Greek god statues have beer bellies? I have not seen one myself. So I am assuming when the Greeks depicticted through sculpture what the ideal male body should look like beer was probably not as prevalent and abundant as it is today. I could be wrong (laughing).

Have seen competitors not do so well in competitions or their placing just keeps getting worse and worse. They simply come home and work extra hard at an inferior program instead of seeing that something is not working and changing their approach like a successful person would do.

Then there are the people who leave their progress entirely up to others, well good luck if you don’t get involved in learning your body through your own trial and error. You are at the mercy of others to get you to the goals you desire, and I say good luck to you. If I tried my hardest and did everything in my power to attain a goal and fell short, I can live with that, but if I looked back and saw I only went as far as others tried to take me and left it up to them and just did what other people told me to do, well I could not live with that.

So I have to be rough on people because I have to tear them down and strip them of all the information they have been taught their whole lives, and rebuild them with the proper information, so they may have a shot at attaining their fitness and nutritional goals. To be honest I don’t like to do that anymore. It is hard to do in a 4 hour period, and in the end I was like bring me a 5th of Jack Daniels and a shot glass and I will rebuild you (laughs) very tough process.

Let me sum it up like this, the human body operates in the same mode as life does." Life only responds to action" and thus does the human body. They both do not care how your childhood was,  if you are having a bad day, how busy you are, what your finances might be, how many children you have, how supportive your spouse or family is, and what genetic cards you were handed etc,  non of the above. They simple respond to consistent action forcing change upon life and body.

It takes years to develop a great physique, and that is being consistent all the time not just when you want to be but having a great nutritional and training/cardio program in place and just letting the years roll, until one day you wake up and go, damn I am here. Most people start and stop so much they have to start over all the time; they never have the consistency to elicit substantial change from their bodies or their lives.

Actually most people are followers, so if that is you, just look around, guess what? You also get to look like them. I love the quote by Abraham Lincoln it is one of my favorites and makes you think “God must have really liked the average man, because he sure made a lot of them” but to be outstanding we must sacrifice, we must give up something to get something. There are no magic supplements there is no short cut. You train and diet your ass off and turn it over for years, and you will have something that the richest man in the world cannot buy, something that many envy but know it is unattainable, given their capacity to sacrifice. Every man is great in their dreams, but to have it in reality is a whole different world.

It always amazes me that people will spend untold sums of money on tangible items. Things basically, that gives them instant gratification. When it comes to their health little to nothing is spent, got to get the cheapest vitamins and protein. A reverse in logical prioritizing. A decision that will come back to haunt you 100 fold. I have never seen a brand new shiny motorcycle change a bed pan. You get one car take care of it, when it is broken down from neglect; there is no going to the lot and getting a new one. You will be headed to the junkyard whether you like it or not with a garage or house full of toys that won’t be coming with you.

I have guys walk up to me periodically and say I will surpass you in a year. You just laugh and let them go, I am thinking shit I will give you 100 years, your not coming here. Anyone who has achieved a great level with their body has heard this from people just starting, hey your fired up you want to compete with others you want to be better then they are. My advice go play sports because this thing is the hardest things I have ever done in my life and has brought me to my knees in frustration so many times over so many years to this day I ask myself here and there is it worth it. Answer is always yes.

Year after year there are a few people that have gotten it and no one else coming up to challenge. There are not a lot of people on earth that could diet with me, or be as consistent as I am. I have always admired the people that could look stunning all year long. Not the fat blubber gut bodybuilder who might look good two times a year because his mind is weak to begin with and dieting all year would put him in a psych ward. At least he looks good 2 times a year and that is more then most people, so I do respect that. I was influenced by the fitness models when I started because they looked great all the time and had amazing symmetry. Those who can do that are in a very small cult in this world for sure and I have such respect for anyone who is that consistent. So there is no worry of all these people walking around with incredible physiques making the whole thing trivial. Where being in this physical state is just common place, so I do not worry. So when I teach someone, I am just trying to get you from point A to point B as fast as possible, because I have already made all the mistakes, so you don't have to. Relevant to some, not too many but still relevant. Offensive well many will agree with that. (Laughs).

You have got to tell everyone what you told me about the scientific facts on abdominals and your person versus their clone face off. Those two things, if nothing really got me to think about all the mistakes, and all the time I have wasted myself in the gym, the importance of a great diet and doing things by scientific evidence not by human tradition, or what someone has deemed law, or written. It is interesting and eye opening to say the least. Oh lord, I am going to get drug to the center of town and stoned to death for this, I am sure I will take it on the chin for even mentioning this kind of ridiculous scientific truth. I know this might seem overwhelming to those who have done a million sit ups a day for 10 years straight and still don’t have a hint of visible abdominal muscles. Remember I did not make this up, unlike your countless magazine articles and all the abdominal gadgets that come and go, year after year.

Once again I have two eyes, where are all the abs I ask. What part of abdominals and lounge not going together aren’t you getting? Ab lounge is an oxymoron (laughing). Here is a scientific evaluation of what actually taxes the abdominal region of the human body. Methods used during the gathering of data were, electromyographic sensors and force sensing resistors measure muscular activity and force, respectively, and position sensors measure posture. Typically, biofeedback units utilize one type of device to translate a particular physical activity of a person into electric signals, and display representations of the signals in understandable form to the person whose activity is being monitored. One type of well known biofeedback unit measures electromyographic (EMG) activity, that is, the electrical activity of a muscle during contraction, via electrodes placed on the skin over a muscle or a group of muscles to be monitored. Another kind of biofeedback unit, a goniometer, provides feedback regarding the angular position of a joint of the human body, i.e., posture. It is further widely known to sense vibrations by attaching accelerometers to parts of the body, and to sense levels of force between a portion of a person's body, such as the fingertips, and another object, such as a keyboard, with variable force sensing resistors (FSR).

Onto the exercises, many were used, but here are the big three. Number one on the graph was the squat, graphing almost to the top of the chart. Number two, was laying flat on your back and imitating a bicycle peddling movement. That did pretty well considering the movement, graphing maybe a quarter of the measuring chart. Number 3, drum roll please, 10 variations of a crunching type movement, from the swiss ball, to a dedicated crunch machine, many devices like the ab roller were also employed. Any crunching type movement barely graphed.

There I said it; a crunch is an ineffective worthless exercise. Will people stop doing these exercises, of Course not, will they ever get in shape doing them, of course not. The human abdominal are structurally set up to work like a spring and need a heavy resistant load placed on them like a squat to elicit them to work and strengthen. The abdominal region works like a spring and that is through compression not bending the spring back and forth.

I personally have never done a single abdominal exercise since I started and never will. I know the only way to having visible abdominals is with the knife and fork only. Find me a guy with ripped abs and a double chin and I will give you a thousand dollars I used to say to people. You simply cannot spot reduce through exercise. My abs are worked all day long picking things up, up and down stairs, my leg and back workouts etc. For me there is never a reason to work mine ever. When I lean down for the summer they are perfect in appearance. When I eat more then I should, they go away, like clock work. Now I am in no way saying you should never work your abdominal region. I am saying do exercises that compress the abs and put a heavy resistant load on them. When I started I was beaten up by a guy who ruined his competition symmetry by over working his abs and squatting heavy, as his midsection thickened and abdominals got blockier and blockier his placing went down and down. The smaller the waist the better the symmetry and the wider the shoulders and quad sweeps look. So he was very adamant about never training them and letting your back and leg workouts work them. I had to problem with that and to this day I don’t do them. Squatting does them for me.

One more negative against any crunching type movement, you are taking a very vulnerable part of the human body and putting a concentrated workload on it. Repeated over years on a consistent basis can cause a weakening and deterioration of disks in the spine. Once this occurs having great abdominals will be the least of your worries, as you concentrate now on just getting through the day and living with your constant lower back pain.

The cloning thing is simply an example I give to people to demonstrate how important nutrition is, over weight training, and cardiovascular work. When trying to elicit great change from our bodies. When talking to the average person just getting started, or been at it for awhile and frustrated by lack of progress. I simply give them this to think about. If we could clone you right now I will take your clone home with me and sit them on the couch. You can be in the gym 12 hours a day 7 days a week for 6 weeks. Do whatever and how much ever you want. Hell 20 hours a day. I will simply feed your clone while they sit for 6 weeks on the couch. We will compare results in 6 weeks, the clone will be so dramatically different looking then you, you will not resemble the clone at all, you, well you will be the same or worse. Huh kind of like what’s been going on since you started. Let the stone throwing begin. (laughs)

Physically, you definitely practice what you preach; most men in your position in this industry simply do not. Me on the outside of this industry can look at the owners of some of these companies and say to myself, well your products must not work because you look like crap. It is the old do as I say, not as I do. You are the ultimate representation of your product line. (Laughing)Well you preach a better sermon with your actions then your words, for the longest time my development and how quickly I was able to move to the next level simply sold whichever products I had finished at the time. I was my best advertisement when there was no advertising. I really enjoy this still to this date I mean I have been relentless since I started 9 years ago in the gym, till today, and there are no signs of slowing down.

If I have you do something, never forget, I am willing to do something ten times harder to myself. I am a guy who can eat a can of tuna every 90 minutes for 6 months straight without a hiccup, and have done it. My discipline and commitment is unwavering and I built myself extremely fast. Hell by my third year into this lifestyle I looked incredible. My results were in direct proportion to what I was willing to commit to. The rewards are substantial if the commitments are kept.

I basically became an eating and lifting machine and was called "not human" on many occasions. Now it is so easy to maintain. All I have to do is go in for a little stimulation and let my knife and fork keeps me looking this way. Man, did I pay my dues though, as do many who want to do this. It is very important to me that someone interested in buying my products is dealing with someone as passionate as he or she is about weight training and nutrition, or athletics in general.

I have the greatest admiration for anyone who can get themselves into contest condition that alone makes all other conditioning for sports seem very kindergarten. So I have the greatest respect for these elite human beings known as bodybuilders or figure and fitness competitors. You don’t get to go home after practice it is 24/7 and mentally grueling as anything on earth could be. As respect to that I make sure I am always on top of my game regardless of circumstance. Someone has to set an example of discipline and determination so others will have a reference for success, and it helps motivate through the tough times. I will never tell someone to do something I cannot do myself. I am right there with my customers grinding it out trying to move my body up the ladder.

Physical-sciences products are pure enough for clinical applications. I know you want to get more involved in the nutritional aspects of the medical field, and do a lot of personal research on human wasting and disease control, via the dietary practices of human beings in advanced stages of such inflicting conditions. Where would you like to take this and how does it pertain to your company? It is a field I would like to get more into as nutrition is very elementary in clinical medicine, as it has always been. A few doctors have ended up with my proteins brought in by a customer of mine. Curious to what they would say about it, and to their surprise not mine, the physician has been like where did you get this, and this is a great product. That led to us feeding a few pancreatic cancer and cancer patients with our isolates, and various other amino acids, with great success. People with irritable bowl syndrome, I seem to have the only proteins they can tolerate, which led me to believe any stomach issues a person has with protein product is not being caused by the actual protein at all. The problem is all the fillers in the product.

We are currently one of the purest nutritional product lines in the world right now to sum it up in one statement. The quality is so high it can be classified as medical grade. You will also find us superior to any nutritional products used in clinical situations providing nutritional support for a wide range of illnesses, disease, cancer recovery, bariatric and gastric bypass surgery patients, as well as those recovering from injury.

I actually want to concentrate on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), it is the practice of feeding a person intravenously, bypassing the usual process of eating and digestion. The person receives nutritional formulas containing salts, glucose, amino acids, lipids and added vitamins. TPN is normally used following surgery, when feeding by mouth or using the gut is not possible, when a person’s digestive system cannot absorb nutrients due to chronic disease, or, alternatively, if a person’s nutrient requirement cannot be met by enteral feeding (tube feeding) and supplementation. It has been used for comatose patients, although enteral feeding is usually preferable, and less prone to complications. Short-term TPN may be used if a person’s digestive system has shut down (for instance by Peritonitis) and they are at a low enough weight to cause concerns about nutrition during an extended hospital stay. Long-term TPN is occasionally used to treat people suffering the extended consequences of an accident or surgery. Most controversially, TPN has extended the life of a small number of children born with nonexistent or severely birth-deformed guts.

I would like to get involved in the physician consultation of TPN nutrition and product development as well as the consulting of administering such products. Also using them at optimal levels to have the greatest effect against the conditions they are being used to treat. I feel no matter what you suffer from if your body is in the best condition it can be in and that means nutrition being at optimal levels your chances of beating or slowing down the ailment are increased 100 times.

I remember visiting a friend in the hospital and seeing his plate of food, I was thinking your suppose to induce recovery with that, man I was salivating, that looked like a cheat meal to me, I was like, give me that! (Laughs)

It makes sense 7-10 hospital beds are nutritional related illnesses, and our food pyramid was designed to induce sickness and the need for medical attention, you are no good healthy to the biggest business in the world, healthcare, they need you sick. If you are healthy the business shrinks. Can’t have that. Anyway it is all something I am aware of, and want to get involved in, and the only way to change anything is through education.

What can a person expect when switching to your line of products over what they are currently using: First off, overall you will just feel better, and won’t dread taking your products, (well a few you will, laughs), Excessive trips to the restroom will stop immediately. Any stomach problems a user had with other products will not be present with these products. The base compound in a product like a protein does not cause any stomach issues or exacerbate a pre-existing stomach condition. The culprits in all issues with digesting nutritional supplements lye in all the fillers used to make the product taste like a trip to McDonalds. I actually know a kid that came to me not wanting to take whey protein any longer because his face broke out. So he asked me for my advice. I told him it is not the whey that broke your face out. It was everything else in the store bought protein that he was having the problems with. Switched to a pure protein, problem solved face cleared.

They have no benefit to the user at all and the human body excretes waste, things it can’t use. So if you are constantly going to the restroom guess what you are ingesting a lot of useless materials. The unsurprising thing is, they are cheaper then the base compound protein, in the product, what a shock huh.(laughs) We could go to any store or gym and I could buy a protein bar or store bought protein powder and I will tell you this, there had better be a restroom near me in under 20 minutes.

The human body can’t do anything with all these fillers except pass it, reading the ingredients you would think this was some kind of a serious hazardous chemical product, not protein, protein bar, or dietary supplement. (Laughs)

The most important thing you will notice is that your supplements are doing their job, plain and simple. You will finally be getting the right amounts of the nutrients from your supplements instead of guessing whether you are or not. It is pretty difficult to screw up a protein product when that is all that is in the product. That is one thing even I couldn’t manage to screw up, and that is saying a lot.

Most of all, this stuff works, so you will notice you are reaching your desired goals a lot quicker then you would using over the counter supplements. I sum it up like this, most serious fitness people, what they do by purchasing their supplements from stores or discount internet sites, would be just like if the best golfer in the world went to the local sporting goods store to get his golf clubs. Talk about limiting their performances, the best competitors in the world generally don’t use over the counter supplements, period.

Here is a better explanation of what I am trying to say via an email I received from a woman who worked for a local supplement company for many years and was having problems with their product line.

Hi John,
Although it's too early to give you a fully objective testimonial, if your stuff has anything to do with what I'm experiencing so far then it's nothing less than a miracle to me.  Miracle may be a strong word but, as far as I'm concerned, it's a valid one.  I know this is long winded (apologies) but here's the scoop:

1.  It may taste like Satan's ass at first, but everything goes down SUPER easy (even the cee creatine!) and sits on my stomach as light as down.  I feel nourished, not bloated and nauseous.  That's a new sensation!  The taste is growing on me but actually it's not even an issue in light of how good I feel.
2.  I didn't realize how sick I've become from malabsorption until taking your stuff.  Without going into gory details, I have been battling an inflammatory GI problem for awhile now.  It was way beyond typical IBS symptoms.  Frankly I was getting pretty scared, especially since I did not have the time for medical intervention right now.  With a 30 year background in clinical nutrition I knew enough to realize that I was in pretty serious trouble.

Along with the GI symptoms (maldigestion-absorption), my energy has been in the toilet (along with my workouts), I always feel like I have the flu (achy & inflamed all over), nauseous 24/7 (not exaggerating), and unable to gain weight.  It got to the point that all food was making me sick. While I was preparing for the Jr. Nationals last year it really flared up.  By 3 weeks out I was unable to tolerate any food.  Everything went right through me (or up and out) and I felt a terrible dis-ease that wasn't the usual beat-down feeling.  I'm surprised I placed as well as I did at that show.  I thank God that I even got though it without more serious consequences.  After the show, however, I was unable to reestablish proper conditioning.  I just stayed sick all the time and didn't know why.

I started taking your 40-40-20 Friday night and started taking everything else on Sat.  I decided to challenge my system (and your stuff) by going full speed ahead with maximum quantities.  Not only have I not experienced ANY of the previous problems, my appetite returned immediately (with a vengeance), all food is sitting on me much better, I've had 2 glorious days of feeling GREAT (!!!), I'm enjoying an unusual sense of well-being and energy, much more effective training, and good mood.  I have not had EVEN ONE day in the past year (or longer) where I've felt anything close to this good. Even my joint and myofacial pain is significantly reduced.  This is how I came to realize how sick I've actually become.  I'm also thinking that the inflammatory stress on my GI tract may have something to do with the inflammatory problems and increasing pain present throughout the rest of my body.  Maybe it's not just old age!

Like I said, 2 days isn't long enough to come to any kind of conclusion regarding my medical issues.  But it's long enough to conclude that I tolerate your products really well.  I would certainly know by now if I didn't!

So, it looks like there's shit and then there's THE SHIT.  And your stuff, dude, is definitely the latter.  If everything continues to go this well then your pain and suffering over the past 3 years has created a true blessing for me.  If this turns out to be the case, then I must thank you with all my heart.

I'll keep you posted.

Sincerely,
Rita Kaya

I have used a lot of different brands of products over the years and looking back if I had to go back to using these products I would contemplate not taking nutritional supplements at all. The difference is that big to me. With this product line also you don’t have to buy as many products to achieve a desired result. An example of this would be our proteins; there would be no real reason to take external amino acids ever with these proteins. The only time I take external amino acids is during training so there are a lot of benefits, and I have been able to cut the monthly cost of a serious supplement user almost in half, due to the quality of these products, having to use so much less to achieve the same results.

I have had national level competitors contact me once the quality company they were using tried the mass sales route and ruined their line of products. They always have kind of a little anxiety going because there are only a few serious product lines they can use. You can count them on a few fingers. I always hear "I am a national level competitor.

I can’t use over the counter supplements”. I am telling you the top athletes in the world do not use commercial supplement lines because they need real products that they don’t have to guess with. They don’t taste all that great, they don’t look fancy, and they don’t have to try to sell themselves to you. You seek them out simply from their reputation.

The Physical-Sciences Website looks great; I know you are very proud of that. It looks like you are very concerned with not just selling products to people but to actually help guide them through their journey of improving their health and physical appearance. You seem to be a saint in this area. Why are you so involved with helping your customers? Also go over the programs a little for us: That all started when I started weight training and eating better. No one would help me, or at least not at the capacity I was willing to learn. So when I gained some information and some success in the gym instead of hoarding it like most people do; I gave it away to everyone. Something as simple as "hey john" eat every two hours would have revolutionized my pursuit, and it did. That one alone was the biggest piece of advice I could give anyone, everything happens once you have mastered that. I had to find that all out on my own. After I began studying this stuff night and day, I wrote diet and training programs and gave them away to everyone the whole time; I have been kicked out of gyms due to this. (Laughs) I have lived by this motto and that is, I will give you all the information I have, and if you pass me up, god bless you, for I have done my job, I want everyone to pass me up that I help. I get more satisfaction watching someone succeed then you could ever imagine many times much greater then my own success.

I don’t have much of an ego so I withhold nothing from anyone. You don’t have to be a customer or a friend of mine; I will give you all of it, and everything I know. So yes, I love to help and watch people succeed, nothing better.

The two major sections of the site will be up in the next few months and they are first THE GYM, where we will have a virtual gym with streaming video, and you will see the equipment, and how to perform each exercise correctly with proper form and mechanics.

There will be all kinds of things to download like building your own program by selecting exercises and machines, then it will print the training program you designed for yourself all out for you to take to your gym. We will have weight training and cardio programs already put together for all levels to download. You will be able to send questions to this section for answering. Many other things will be available to the user. I am just scratching the surface here.

THE KITCHEN, same as the gym you will be taught how to build diets, how to cook, how to pack food for this lifestyle, dieting for a specific look. How to create great tasting dishes, and we will feature our customer’s recipes as well as great dishes to prepare for you or family and friends.

Sounds like you have your hands full for quite some time once you’re running which Is basically now: Yes, in the upcoming months these sections will appear one right after the next; this will be a busy winter for sure.

John, you have said some interesting things to me and one of my favorite is how you sum up health and longevity of human life. Whether in a metaphor or a quote to an all out seminar, your views are quite stark and striking and really get me to think about my own health and mortality: The longer I do this, and the more I study, the more I just shake my head. People take much better care of their automobiles then they do their bodies. It seems to be you get this body and you just run it till it dies. Same as a car, if you jumped in a new car, never did a thing to it, your cars life expectancy would be greatly decreased. The bodies’ life acts in the same exact manner.

I watch the unnatural deterioration and rapid aging of people, simply caused by their daily nutritional intake. Besides having predisposed hereditary conditions that can run through family genes and a relatively small amount of other contributing factors, ninety percent of all illness and or disease are simply caused by poor nutritional habits. The human body is incredibly complex, and is a regenerative organism, with soft cells regenerating every 30 days given the proper nutritional platform, the body can go long periods of time trouble free. Our nutritional system in America is set up induce a dramatic downward spiral of deteriorating health conditions. It does not facilitate regeneration, it just props the human body up for daily survival, so most peoples bodies are simply dying on a daily basis. The condition of our elderly shows this downward spiral in great detail.

Now the facts are a human body was set up structurally and internally for a well over 100 year life span with internal organs maxing out at 120-140 years or so. You should have great capacity in your life all the way up to death; you should just die unexpectedly one day. You shouldn’t go through all these illnesses and diseased states, the degenerative bone conditions, the hanging skin, all inflicting our elderly. They represent our nutritional standards in this country not at all how the human body actually matures and ages. Which is quite different then what society is dictating to our eyes.

People need to realize the human body will act accordingly to what it is being fed on a daily basis. For most, they are trying to run a high performance race car on store bought gas. Not exactly optimal for great performance. People are funny, they think you just eat what you want and that’s it, well they are usually dead at 50 so they never question it anyway.

If you think you are going to do what you want, and you are going to live a long and fruitful existence, think again. The human body can do two things, and both are in your hands. Your body will give you years of trouble free service and let you do all the things you love to do and enjoy, and get the most out of life. It can also cast you into a nightmare that could have never been scripted by the most demented minds.

That makes me remember a dear friend of mines mother. Who did just that, ate whatever she wanted, and had the laugh it off, whatever attitude. You know, the dieting properly isn’t conducive to enjoying life. Well the human body only cares about one thing, getting the proper amounts of nutrients on a daily basis. The body does not care what your definition of food and living is.

After years of so called enjoying life via food, her body said ok, let me show you what I have been doing in this unnourished unexercised state. First course of action, self induced diabetes, second stroke, third amputation of the right leg, on way to amputation of the left leg, but a stroke would claim her at 51, with a long history of long life in the family.

The human body is powerful going in either direction and that is simply held in your hands. I am simply talking about health; I am not even referring to vanity. It is almost comical to see these guys out there that their whole life was consumed with making money, double crossed by it, now they have the money and no health, so when all you can do is sit in a recliner and watch television or worse confined to a bed. What does it matter whether you have a million dollars or one dollar?

If you want to talk health in stock option or retirement terms, then here it is your long term health is the greatest plan you will ever be offered, all others are built on the premise that there may be a retirement phase or life, this is the only one that guarantees it. If you put into this fund and manage it well, you might be looking at 40 years or so of the golden years, which should be the greatest years of your life. You should sit back and laugh at us all still stuck in the rat race.

We should be liberated by our old age, not limited by it. Some of my favorite excuses are,” I don’t have time", first off, a healthy lifestyle does not take time it makes time. Remember to tell the vascular surgeon as he is explaining to you that they need to remove your leg due to circulatory problems that “you don’t have time.” Remember to tell the self induced diabetes that you don’t have time for 4 insulin shots a day, when you have developed this condition from your nutritional practices and lack of exercise. "I have children", take it from a guy who lost his parents early on in life, you are no good to your children dead. They want you alive and well for as long as possible.

You know, they might watch you while they are growing up, and adopt the same healthy lifestyle you live, because they see the benefits of this compared to their friends parents. You might also help them to break the debilitating nutritional practices of the average American. You would also help them to live their lives to its fullest potential, and longevity. Children retiring at 65 and still having the chance to hang out, and doing things with their parents. What a concept, should be reality by now. We can only change ourselves, so it must start there and grow.

I will be a reference to the other side of life, not the downward spiral side, there are many like me. For me to be in this position to educate a lot of people is very exiting to me, instead of talking about it, now I can do something about it. As I learn and develop my techniques, I will surely pass everything I have learned on to anyone who will listen. Quality and quantity of life is what we should all be striving for.

I can walk outside my door and see, people really need help with their nutritional choices, and lack of exercise: Yes, there is a lot of help needed, but you can’t make a person change that does not have the desire to change, once they have hit rock bottom or have a great desire to change, you have them, until then you just have to let them go. It is a shame that the guy in the white coat has to tell them it is time to change, something I am sure their bodies were screaming at them. When the man in the white coat eventually tells you, it's time to change. It usually isn’t accompanied by very good news.

You said that you think much of the blame needs to be placed on the American food pyramid and glutinous eating habits established in this country: Yes totally, if you look at how the food pyramid is structured it is set up to cause the need for substantial medical care well before retirement age. You have to understand you are no good to the health care industry which is the largest business on earth being healthy. They need you sick to stay in business. I need you to eat a lot of grain and little amounts of lean meat and vegetables. Grain and sugar is what I need to get you to eat to make sure you need major care so I stay in business. Nothing will age you faster or make you sicker then those two. When a country goes from spending 30 billion a year to treat severe obesity to 90 billion in just one year we might have a problem with our food portions. The Europeans seem to do a little better with portions.

When we talked about questioning you, one of the things was you didn’t really want to go technically in depth on how you formulate and build your products, I thought I would sneak this one in on you to give some of the reasons why you don’t elaborate. It is boring, that is why. The average person or not so average person simply does not care about all that. Most people want to know what time they have to pick their kids up from soccer, not why I use glucose polymers as a carbohydrate source in my meal replacements. Too many people try to make things so technical they lose you instantly. When I started I simply wanted to know how much protein to take. I did not care about the chemical structure of an amino acid. I was sure a girl at the beach was not going to ask me about it either. She was just going to care if I had abs or not. People want to know what to take that is it and how much to take. This industry tried to come off as scientific and gain respect. Sorry you are a laughing stock. The scientific community has never cared at all what you are doing; you have only tried to emulate them. They don’t even look at you, unless to laugh their asses off. Once you have presented yourself as a clown it is very hard to take the nose off and be taken seriously. So we have all these guys trying to be scientist in a not so scientific field.

Human nutrition is a science don’t get me wrong and a very important one but it is basic at best. Let’s not try to align ourselves with molecular science. That is what caused this industry to turn itself from a progressive innovative industry to a complete laughing stock. They tried to hard to be actual scientists, the products and made up technology and made up studies and sciences, were and are still racing at a fever pace, to bad the human body has basically been the same for the last thousands and thousands of years so none of the made up theoretical products work. For me to sit here and try to explain this biochemistry this and that would do nothing but bore the crap out of the reader. I try to get people on their way not bog them down. If you think there are all these high tech laboratories with people in white coats at the supplement companies well you need to get out of you’re made up fantasy world. They are also doing gene mutations and cloning there also between protein bars.

Just because you put way to much caffeine in a product does not make you a scientist. “it took us three years to put that much caffeine in a drink so you would shake and think it is working” are you kidding me here. It is easy to be a chief science officer in a world that you created. I am also the chief science officer at physical-sciences. I am just to damn embarrassed to try and call myself that. Now if I were Dr. john eberhart chief science officer of molecular research at johns/Hopkins hell yea I would wear a shirt that said that everywhere I went and probably would not wear pants, ever. To be john eberhart chief science officer at bozo the clown supplement company, well that is a little embarrassing to me. I view it as the ultimate insult to the men and woman of real world serious sciences and research. What we do is important, but not that important to warrant that. I think they call that having an over exaggerated opinion of yourself.

I was able to formulate a large product line at my desk in my house without a laboratory. I am secure in myself also to where I don’t have to run around yelling at everyone, “I am smart damn it, someone listen to me, I am smart, I am smart! I remember reading dr. john berardi and after a paragraph I knew I was going to have to hear how smart he is for a long time until I got the information I desired which usually was not very helpful because it was not telling me what and when to eat just the fucking mechanical and structural changes of an apple. I am like just say eat the apple at noon john I know you’re smart for god’s sake. I was bored out of my mind because it did not pertain to my life as it does not to 99% of everyone. So I tried to put a lot of information on my product labels for you to read at your leisure. I like simple even though I can go off the deep end with this stuff, I always ask myself, why? I also have an incredible articulate mind. I have done products off the cuff that were way better then guys who spent 10 years getting chemistry degrees. A lot of times blind leaps of faith are what advance everything. I have blindly guessed things and they were all right when investigated. So it is a combination of knowledge, articulation, creativity and guts. I have always run before I can walk and jumped before I can see. I pay a heavy price for that sometimes. I really don’t feel the need to get in everyone’s face and tell them about how great and how smart I am. This is a basic field and I am a basically smart guy at best.

This was an industry you greatly admired when you started on your physical journey turned to you having great animosity for it seems. Well I really need to get out (laughs) I am losing my mind at this point (laughing). Seriously when I first started there were companies doing great work or so it seemed when I did not know much. It seemed this industry was the only chance people had to finding out the truth about human nutrition and what the human body really needs as far as nutrient numbers go and how to train the damn thing correctly. The doctors, dieticians, and the government have no clue as far as what is actually needed to successfully run the human body. Their numbers only encourage sickness and eventually an early death. So yes the industry was going against the grain and the government’s criteria. It was exiting to hear of people pushing the envelope so you may live a much longer healthier life. I loved the fact that they rally hard to preserve the image of man as being muscular, strong and dominant, and they still do which mainstream society frowns upon. Overly emotional, sensitive and physically inept is the protocol for a man today. Things took a turn for the worst somewhere along the line. Now we just have candy companies and ones that just blatantly rob people with insane muscle building and fat loss products that don’t do anything. They are all in a marketing and packaging war with each other. I have never seen anything like it, anywhere. When the packaging costs more then what’s inside, you have lost your way. I can’t forget the ones putting actual prescription medications in the products. Hey at least those will probably do something for you. It is just going to be a bitch if it does not cross-reference well with any medications you may be taking. I wonder do any of these guys ever get tired of getting sued and threatened all the time. Never forget I have two eyes if something worked like they claim it would cause mass hysteria and I would see people changing all the time. Every person on earth would be buying it. The truth is this if you are an artist and our population the canvas; you haven’t even made a brush stroke yet.

As we wind this interview down I want to ask you to comment on things I know you must find perplexing in society as it pertains somewhat to the field you are working in which is human nutrition: Sure no problem

Vitamin Water: A fool and their money are soon parted. Let’s see my water has the same amount of sugar as my soda does and costs 5 times more. My water makes me ten times thirstier then before I drank it, just like my soda. My water contains synthetic vitamins from the petroleum manufacturing process. The human body can do very little with those types of vitamins. Professional athletes drink it, so should I. Professional athletes don’t seem to have the same body composition as I do hmmmm. I keep getting bigger around the waist with every vitamin water I drink. Professional athletes don’t seem to have this problem. I can’t pay my mortgage because I keep buying stupid worthless things like vitamin water. Professional athletes do not drink vitamin water. You should not either. If a product is so great why do they have to pay someone to say they use it?

Subway Diet: Does not get any unhealthier then that. The great alternative to the burger. It is like saying ok my alternative to having my arm cut off with a chainsaw is my arm cut off with a smaller chainsaw. You have grain the hardest thing for the human body to process and one of the leading causes of colon cancer and you have processed meat most of it. It is about as nutritional as eating a rock. One of the biggest farces ever laid on the American public to align lunchmeat with great health. I eat there sometimes on a cheat meal and that is what it should be for not a staple of human nutrition. I never seem to see incredible looking people there either and I often wonder why their spokesperson is fully clothed on a beach in their advertising campaigne. Could it be that his body is so grotesque from all the hanging skin that it might detour patrons from visiting the establishment or frighten innocent children playing on the beach. I wonder (laughing). These places and all fast food places should be visited as a treat, to eat things that taste really good, as a reward for strict dieting, or to get something when you are in a bind. They should not be used to build a nutritional program from, my god if you ate every meal hear you would be riddled in disease in later years from lack of nutrients the body needs to facilitate growth, fight disease keep your immune system high etc etc. Actually I am a chipotle junkie, they have things like rice, beans, chicken, steak vegetables and you can get it in a bowl without having to eat flour. It does not get much better fast food wise for me then there and I go once a week.

Swiss Ball/Bosu Ball: This proves you can sell a person anything. People looked the same before the ball. People will look the same after the ball is gone. We have had them at our gyms for years and the same 3 people with visible abdominals before we got them are the same 3 people with visible abdominals today with them everywhere. Why is that I ask? I think people are trying to steal them from the gyms by putting them up their shirts. Oh that isn’t the Swiss ball under there. Oooooops sorry. Now where the hell did all those abs shockers go? I am guessing the landfills across America. Don’t worry the goofy ball things are coming right behind the ab lounge to fill the landfills across America. The funny thing once again is where are all the ab. Once again there aren’t any.

7-Keto: Many of the claims for 7-Keto are based on Petri dish studies, animal research and cell line studies, thus the data and findings cannot be carried over to the human model.

Overweight Dietician: Isn’t that a prerequisite for employment in that field now?

Ezekiel Bread and cereal: I will let Jim walker answer this one for me. The only thing I can ad is poor nutrition then, poor nutrition now. Now for Jims take. I bought a loaf of Ezekiel 4:9 bread just to see what it tastes like. As I expected, it tastes horrible, just as one would expect from grains and grass that only a starving person would eat. Only if the religious-right's self-fulfilling prophecy of Armageddon comes near (not likely!) and we pagans end up starving before our final demise, maybe then I'll eat it again, but never again, if I have a choice. Ezekiel 4:12 refers to bread baked with human dung! Yes that's right: Human shit. Apparently they realized that to fulfill the actual Biblical recipe, they had to introduce this new bread line (probably forced on them by fundamentalists). I suspect they will probably drop the 4:9 bread in favor of this Biblically correct bread. You see, Ezekiel 4:9 refers to a passage in the Bible that describes how to prepare bread with wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and fitches (spelt). The problem here is that the biblical recipe was intended to help survive famine during an upcoming siege, not because it tastes good or that it's healthy for you. Barley and, millet, throughout history, has been considered a poor man's food. Barley is a hardy grain that survives drought and frosts. It also grows in alkali soils. It is usually fed to livestock, but humans can eat it too if they can stomach the flavor. Millet is a bland tasting grass used mainly in disadvantaged counties to feed the poor (and the seeds are given to birds). It's also found in "natural" food stores because it's exotic (which means that it’s rarely eaten, especially by well-to-do people). Here's the actual Biblical passage: "And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight. And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them." (Ezekiel 4:12-13)

The Biggest Loser: You know I have no comment for this one. I don’t watch television. When I say I don’t I mean it has been 8 years now since I quit watching. People have asked me if I have seen it and they try to explain it to me but my mind simply rejects it as uninteresting based on the premise of the show. I will promise and it will be a good reason to eat 5 lbs of butter popcorn. I will watch an episode to see what it is about I doubt it is worth commenting on, self infliction, self loathing and pity are not really my things. I will watch it though and maybe play some arm chair trainer/nutritionist with it. Hey I would have done this and that differently you know how guys do sports after they already know the outcome of the game. I will be a Monday morning trainer/nutritionist.

You’re Worst Pet Peeve: People that want to sit there and tell me how great they used to be, or what they used to look like. It is never what they are now or what they look like now. It is always past tense never the present. It is funny what we recollect from the past a lot of the time is not an accurate account of events that transpired.

John, I know you are ready to get this thing out to the world. Thank you for giving us a small insight into physical-sciences and yourself and sharing with us your overview of health and fitness. I am sure we didn’t scratch the surface to what might be expected from you and your company in the upcoming years. I wish you much success with your product line, and website. Thank you for your time john. Thank you for the opportunity, it is much appreciated.
